Retail complexes include the shops on Tenth Line, Kanata West, Riverview in Kingston and Kanata Eagleson. Our senior living projects include long-term care facilities; Amica Westboro and Glebe, the Grove in Renfrew, St. Patrick’s. High rise residential includes the Soho condominiums at Parkdale, Champagne and Italia, the Charlesfort’s Hudson Park, The Gardens, Continental & The Merit condominiums, Rio Can’s Frontier, Elmvale Acres, Westgate and soon Lincoln Fields. We continue to provide structural engineering services to multiple school boards in Ottawa and the greater area. Designing over 30 new schools and hundreds of additions and renovations in Eastern Ontario. Our institutional clients also include private schools, college, and university authorities. Our commercial buildings are comprise numerous of buildings in Kanata Research Park including Alcatel, Stealth, and Nokia buildings, and the four commercial towers of the Blackwood Centre, plus the Merivale campus of JDS Uniphase and its tenant fit-up for the new Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) National Headquarters. Our portfolio includes both post-disaster buildings and blast resistant design.

We are fully equipped with the latest structural design software, including BIM Revit, an integrated and object-based software that allows all disciplines to compare drawing components, increasing our efficiency and accuracy resulting in economic designs. Computer modeling and dynamic and static analysis of structures under wind and earthquake loading is carried out using state-of-the-art CSI ETABS software, recognized as a world standard.

To meet the needs of the numerous property management companies in the area as well as large organizations, we have expanded our services to include structural building assessment & condition reviews for existing structures. Clients for such services have included the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, the Federal Government & the City of Ottawa. These services are continually provided to ensure the structural integrity of our city’s buildings,  to maintained them in safe working condition for years to come.
